Meet Our CEO

Kenyu Okuda headshot

Kenyu Okuda became President and CEO of Tokio Marine America in 2025. He began his career with Tokio Marine in 2005 at Tokio Marine Nichido Fire Insurance in Tokyo, Japan. In 2015, he transferred to Tokio Marine Pacific Insurance in the United States and served as Chief Operating Officer and Treasurer. Two years later, Mr. Okuda moved to the United Kingdom to serve as Group Coordination for Tokio Marine Kiln Insurance. He acted as a key conduit between Tokio Marine Kiln executives in the UK and leadership in Japan. He was promoted to Chief of Staff and Executive Secretary to the Tokio Marine Group CEO at Tokio Marine Holdings (TMHD) in Tokyo, Japan, served in that role from 2018 to 2025. During his tenure at TMHD, he provided strategic counsel to the Group CEO and managed the Secretariat Office.

From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Okuda was the first Tokio Marine employee to attend the London Business School in the UK and receive his MBA as a corporate-sponsored candidate. Mr. Okuda received his Bachelor of Law from Keio University, Japan in 2004. He also has an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Public Accountant (USCPA), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
