Follow the Steps Below to Report a Claim
- Remain Calm
- Do not argue or admit liability
- Do not give written or recorded statements to anyone other than a police officer or a representative of TMA
- Collect Accident Details
- Gather the facts outlined on the second page of the Auto Glove Box Kit (see under Available Resources on the right)
- Gather additional claim information:
- Names, telephone numbers, addresses, and email addresses of all occupants and witnesses
- Photos/videos of the accident scene and all vehicles involved
- Company name, policy number, and phone number for other insurance companies (or take a clear photo of the other party's "insurance card" to obtain this information)
- Report to the Police Department
- Report all accidents to the local police department, even if they were not at the scene
- Secure a local police report number
- Report your Claim to TMA
- Have your policy number available
