- First and foremost is the safety of you, your staff, and the public. Notify the police or fire department if necessary and follow their directions.
- If medical attention is required, provide aid or call 911.
- Prepare an incident report.
- Identify witnesses and secure contact information.
- If possible, secure the scene or product involved so it can be inspected.
- Take photos or video and secure any video that may have captured the loss. Make sure to secure ample time before and after the loss as well.
- Notify your agent/broker or report a claim to TMA
- Have your policy number available.
